Ryan Hempworth

Mr. Hepworth has been counselor at Green River High School going on 5years. He has been employed by Emery School District since 2008 as a school counselor. Prior to that time he worked in education from 1990 to 2008 for Dagget School District and Carbon School District teaching PE, Health, and Social Studies classes. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education from SUSC (now SUU) and a Master of Science in School Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Ryan loves helping students succeed, preparing themselves for college and career, and in making good decisions. In his spare time he enjoys being with his 10 children (2 daughters in-law), camping, cooking in a Dutch Oven, reading, gardening, cutting wood, riding motor cycles, working with cows, and believe it or not hauling hay. He also enjoys providing service in his church and scouting.

Kathy Brady

Counselor Assistant
Mrs. Brady has worked at Green River High School since 2001 taking a little time off to move to Alaska. She has also worked in the Special Education department for 10 years. She loves to work with students and help them achieve their goals. She also facilitates for USU Eastern classes here at the high school. She has been married for 38 years, has 5 boys and 10 grandchildren. She loves being a Grandma. She started a Pirate’s Den Teen Center for Green River youth where they can come and get help with homework, play a game of ping pong, air hockey, foos ball, or have fun with classmates. She loves Green River and wants to see it thrive.
